Hi guys, My name is Dusty and I just found this thread and have been reading it for hourse and hours. You all have some amazing collections and I've enjoyed looking through all of your photos of rare cards. I have been collecting Griffey since 1989 as a kid and then sporatcially the rest of my life with periods of absolute obsession. I had my collection up to 4000 different cards before life has put me in a spot where I needed to sell off the majority. I can't bring myself to sell everything and am holding on to my 1/1's. I'm hoping that maybe someone here can help me out. I am trying to put together a 1-100 set of the 2008 SPx American Hero Boxscore's 1/1. I've dealt with Flarick before who really got me going on this collection. I am currently 4 cards short of completing it and I have ran out of idea's of how to find these last 4. I still need #'s KG12, KG56, KG58 & KG63. Do any of you have these cards? And if so would you be wlling to sell them? I look forward to following this thread and continuing to see all the great cards you all put up- Dusty

Hey, glad you could just this forum as you are the one that I talked with a little on the BO Forum in regards to my 1/1 cards! I now see that the 96 Griffey 1/1 cards you told me that you have are indeed the SPX Boxscore 1/1 cards! That is really amazing that you have 96 of the 100 made! That must have taken a REAL long time to accomplish and would think it was really really hard to do! Wish I could help you on trying to get the last 4 but I don't have any in my PC! Hopefully some of these guys like Rick can help ya out! Anyways, glad you could come over to this forum as well!:)

Thanks TPM this forum is way better than the other one we were talking on, some of your patches and autos I've seen are absolutely amazing. Where do you find most of these patches and autos you have? Ebay? On the 2008 SPx Boxscore 1/1's I am looing for, there are alot more than 100. I'm pretty sure there are 22 copies of each number 1 for each game Griffey played in up until 2008. Which is what drove the prices down on them so much. But still they are all one of a kind and the pace that they come available has really slowed. I would be exstatic if any one on here could help me finish it. Reading through this I have been buying and selling with alot of you before. I'm excited I found this place.

Yeah, I think I like this forum a little better than BO as well but I'm still going back and forth between both of them! A lot of my cards I got on eBay from other big Griffey collectors and some from private collectors as well. Been collecting a long time like you have since I was around 13 or so but have really gotten most of my higher end cards in the last 5 years or so. I am actually taking a break from collecting for a while as I need to pay off my debts and try to save for the future! I'm sure I will still get some cards here and there in the future but to tell you the truth I am pretty satisfied with my PC as it stands!:D

The top one wasn't in 1997, it was released later, maybe 2007 or 2008?

[h=3]Rewind to 1997 Jersey[/h] This set is done in the style of the landmark 1997 Upper Deck Game Jersey set. The checklist features players who were all active in 1997, and each card is serial-numbered to 150 copies.
I don't recall it being numbered tho its from 2005

Yeah, not serial numbered but a stated print run. I remember seeing one on ebay when the product first hit, $40 was the final bid. The next one went for close to $200.

Don't want to make anyone sick but I bought mine on ebay for $5. It was very poorly listed and I was the only bidder. Great card though!
