Good morning all.

Loved the GPK discussion last night. Makes me want to run to the store and buy some packs. They are all searched though because topps decided to put the sketch cards and printing plates as the last card in the pack....

I was going to say, do you go after a single PC card on the BDay or bust some wax or what?!

Usually I go for a single card, and something a little unusual that isn't my main collecting focus. I think I have it narrowed down to 3 cards this year: A Willie Stargell Upper Deck SP on-card auto (favorite player from early 80's), a 1909 T206 card of Carl Lundgren (born one town west of me, played for University of Illinois and Cubs), or a Rabbit Maranville strip card that's ending today. Choices, choices.

And I did pick up a Topps Best of 2012 value box at WalMart this morning, when I stopped to get birthday snacks for the office. A few inserts, but no major hits.

Good morning guys. Went and got breakfast with my girlfriend before she had to go take her first final of the semester. I have 3 left, one of them is online. My other 2 are tomorrow and Thursday.

Morning!

To the whos that gave me birthday wishes yesterday, thank you!

And to the thoughtless whonots, you can go to Hades and beyond!

;)

Birthday wood scores: Reyes, Fister and Beltran

Well you see, I thought about it, but then I decided not to wish you a happy birthday since you bought a Scott Diamond wood mini, and that means that 2 of the 5 have been sold and it will probably be awhile before I see one again  But on that note, happy belated birthday!

Heck, go for all 3! Happy birthday!

Good morning guys. I hope everyone has a great day.

Happy Birthday Brad!

I'm heading downtown in just a little bit to try and win tickets to the Pacers playoff game tomorrow night.

So I called the Topps Customer Service this morning. I am caller number 7 holding right now for an approx. time wait of 40 minutes! LOL! Realllllllllllllllllllllllllll sweet.

By the way, I'm calling because a redemption I've waited over a year for is now marked "shipped" and it hasn't arrived in over two weeks, so how the hell do I hang my hat on the fact that it's not lost? The damn tracking number doesn't even work and has never worked.

Honestly don't know how some of you deal with these redemptions on an ongoing basis... I would go nuts.

Those tracking numbers they list aren't our normal tracking numbers. I read somewhere that they are tracking numbers but they can't be entered into the USPS site like we normally use.

LOL... well that's useful. Do you know the site or how to track these cards? Am I jumping the gun by calling after two week of no card? I just want to make sure it isn't lost. I have moved in the last two years, so making sure they didn't F it up.

I've only dealt with Topps redemptions twice. The first one, it took them 3 weeks to get the card to me after it was marked as shipped. The second one, it only took a week for it to get to me after it was marked shipped. I think they should really look into making the process a whole lot quicker and smoother

This is my third redemption ever with Topps. One was marked shipped and the tracking number I could actually track... the card ended up never showing up at my door (even though someone was home) and I had to drive to the Dallas PO downtown to get it. The second one never was marked shipped, still isn't, but it arrived one day lol. Now this one is a derivative of the two... it's marked shipped with tracking that doesn't work and it hasn't arrived. So I'm just confused because I know the one time I did this it went back to the PO waiting for me to pick it up with no notice! If the tracking hadn't worked I would be sitting here with you know what in my hand.

I know I didn't answer the question the way you needed it, but it is because I forgot what the number actually is. I think it is the certified number and not a tracking number.

I think I read that somewhere as well. But my last redemption was not mailed as certified mail. Do they only use certified for the bigger ($$$) cards?
