They look good to me. Could be it is why they are called Threads Prime.

I saw this because of the Sosa/Dawson throwback threads and was immediately suspicious when the Sosa has such an awesome patch and the Dawson is plain.

Just a really lucky guy, I guess?

The Nolan is a hat piece, with part of the H hanging out of the window... lol

The chipper just states game worn jersey. I wouldn't pull the trigger on it. And having such a collection... I still don't get how some sellers just don't have a scanner.

To be fair, home computers/laptops are going the way of landline telephones. Sure the bigger sellers probably use them but they're dying out, therefore more pic based listings. I've actually grown to like a nice high-res pic more than a scan personally anyway. Maybe that's weird of me though

Here's my Helton / Walker 2003 Elite Throwback Threads Prime (I've owned this since 2003):

Many of those look too good to be true.

My call is the clemens, tejada, Ryan are fake. The chipper I think is real. Also it was not uncommon for one player to be a patch and one to be plain jersey. As I have a dual killebrew / carew with carew being patch and killebrew plain jersey

I disagree on the Chipper. I think it's fake because of the other Chipper card he's selling. Looks like it's cut from the same tomahawk patch. Also look @ the patch overhang on the left side on the autograph card:

You could very well be correct. I am not % sure. My only rule I follow is if you aren't 100% sure it's real then don't buy it.

God they missed the boat big time not to have data bases for this reason. No one should be left wondering and no one should w able to get away with it if trying to fake them. And the legit ones should bring premiums. Sad they messed it up.

I can only speak about just a few of them

# to 250 Clemens is fake- they wouldn't use a prime patch on a #/250 card not once EVER
DLP was quite consistent with prime pieces
Either it was labeled as prime- OR it was very low numbered # (generally 25 or less)

While I would generally agree with this, I know this not to be true from my Dawson collection. 2004 Donruss Timelines quickly comes to mind.
