    Teams win rings. Mantle always had far superior teams to mays, really wasn't close. Chad curtis must be better than trout, had more rings. If one player could carry a team it would be in basketball, but Russell had much better teams than wilt and better coaching too.

    Not saying you can't have an opinion, I don't really care what you think. I'd guess, you don't lose sleep over what I think. I will say, a good hitting catcher, with very good defensive skills, can be worth a more than a very good bat at OF/DH. Only time will tell. I'm not a sox or cubs...
