OK I was able to find the card, and it is as interesting as I recall. Definitely a sweet rare early 2000's insert, and one that I actually do not have of Barry Larkin ( I actually think they did not make them of every player in the set maybe??). The card is a 2000 Pacific Prism Proof of...
Hey there everyone. Been years since I have been active on here. But figured I would jump on today and see what was going on. I seem to recall I have a very rare Roberto Alomar parallel card from the late 90's early 2000's that I was going to list for sale years ago. Then I bought a farm in...
Those electric diamond gold cards are actually very tough to find in my experience. It was the last card i needed from 1995 for a really long time before i found one. Seems a little high, but Nomo collectors are pretty serious sometimes.

This is actually written in the rule book:
Any Playing Field constructed by a professional club after June 1, 1958, shall provide a minimum distance of 325 feet from home base to the nearest fence, stand or other obstruction on the right and left field foul lines, and a minimum distance of 400...
Are those Retro Refractors really rare or something? For some reason I still have that on my want list - don't think I recall ever seeing one of Larkin
I've noticed this too. Do you think it is because of all the people trying to flip cards on there to make money? Maybe every time a good deal gets listed, it gets snatched up by a flipper and they jack up the price. Whatever the reason, i find myself buying less and less on comc.

Awesome Pickups! Those Solid Silver Coins are a pain to find. I've never even seen one for sale of my player. Maybe I'm just not looking for them correctly since they are more of a coin than a baseball card.
Doesn't COMC have some special offer rules for higher dollar cards? Maybe I'm just imagining this, but I thought you could offer on higher dollar cards without adding all the fund first.....Either way, you can always just request the money back within 30 days with no charge if he doesn't...
Other than those mentioned I would add Shoeless Joe Jackson and the lesser known Ted Simmons (who unfortunately for him, plated at the same time as Johnny Bench).
Wow!! I have 4, which are all rescues too, and I can't imagine having any more than that. 27......I'm not sure I could handle that. I think the thing that is most annoying to me is all the cat hair that just gets on everything. I think I have spent more money on lint rollers in the past 5...
Yeah, furry friends can be great for things like that. They drive me nuts sometimes but i love them. My cat Likes to step on my keyboard and place bids on cards i don't want!

Wow, this makes me so glad i decided to collect Larkin all those years ago and not Jeter. I would hate to see all those great cards i couldn't afford!!

Thanks Chris for the info and the scans. I actually didn't realize the prototypes were that rare. I never had heard their were only 4 copies. If that is the case my offer was probably much too low. I'll keep the bronze in mind and let you know if i decide to pursue it. Definitely cool to have...
