    While I was able to meet Walt in Cooperstown, I have still yet to meet Rickey. I've had a few encounters very similar to yours, in which things didn't work out as "planned." I've since decided to just let it go. No point in stressing over it anymore.

    As requested, here's a quick picture of the pins. On the right is the medal from my on and only half marathon. The pins are actually on a metal shelf from the As-Is section of IKEA. As soon as I saw it I knew exactly what I'd use it for.

    Sounds like fun! Hopefully, since it's only a button, there will be a lot of them on eBay, and fairly cheap. I've tried picking up extras at the games before, but no one ever wants to give them up.

    Anyone have any pictures of Rickey on the Boise A's? Had someone ask about one, and realized I'd seen them from HS, Jersey City, and obviously Modesto, but can't think of any from Boise at the moment.

    I'm here, just don't have anything to say. Had to put the collection on "hiatus" for both time and monetary reasons. I haven't been on eBay in months, which is kind of unheard of. I think the influx of new cards kind of overwhelmed me. But, I'm sure I'll be back!

    Hope you all have a great Christmas! Haven't posted much lately, or picked up too many cards this year, but still check the thread regularly! Was looking at my son's advent calendar this morning, and based on the color choice, it looks like the designer was a Rickey fan.

    Ha! I actually just came across this at a show a few years ago. I was always jealous of Henderson939's, but had never seen another one. A guy had a random binder of promo stuff, and since this was a bit oversized, I noticed it immediately sticking out of the top. Couldn't buy it fast enough!

    I've been quiet lately, but still trying to keep up. Glad you all had a great time, and that Dylan got a ball! I haven't pick up a new card in at least a month, but I've got to track one of those Field of Dreams cards down!
