Do you sell prospect cards on their major League debut, or hold on to them?

I don't know what I'm talking about, but I would think the smart thing to do would be to sell off enough of your investment during the initial call-up hype to pay for the rest of your investment and have a free stake in a promising player. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    HUGE shout out to @jaydub

I was at that game. I hadn't heard of Senzatela but I knew it was his debut. He was mowing them down that game! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Future Hall of Famers

I think Votto is the most interesting current player to think about. As others have mentioned, his counting stats are nothing special, but advanced analytics show him to be an elite player. The guy has the 13th-highest OBP of all time and the 16th-highest OPS.

Where could you buy bulk base cards of a specific player?

I picked up a stack of Votto base Topps rookie cards on Sportlots for $0.18 a piece. Hard to beat that.

    My Line-Up Card Collection - 12/29/2019 - Pedro 1st win

I have been thinking it would be cool to pick up a White Sox lineup card for awhile now. Your incredible collection has inspired me to follow through with this idea. As you have mentioned, these are relatively scarce but also not widely collected. I'm trying to determine what a fair value would...

    Contest for 2 Boxes 2010 Topps Update - Dano7 & Dwright5

Re: Contest for 2 Slots in 2010 Topps Update Case Break My personal favorite postseason memory is game 2 of the 2005 World Series. After a close win in game 1, Bobby Jenks struggled in the 9th and gave up 2 runs as the Astros tied the game. Ozzie Guillen reportedly told the obviously dejected...

    Noob Case Break?

I've only recently got back into collecting and I was wondering, who joins group case breaks? Is it really worth it for a new collector to buy one slot in a case break? What are the pros and cons of joining a group break versus ripping on your own? Sorry for the stupid question, I have just...

    FCB Yankee Haters Age Poll

My roommate was recently talking smack to me because "his" Yankees were in the postseason and my team was not. Interestingly enough, my roommate is from Albuquerque, NM and has never been to New York. He is also a Lakers fan, Ohio State fan, and Cowboys fan. There sure seems to be alot of...

    FCB Yankee Haters Age Poll

I hate the Yankees only because of their fans. People like to bunch a large group of people together for convenience and usually it isn't valid. ie someone will take a team that they don't like and then say all their fans are ********, bandwagoners, whatever. It makes it easier to hate the team...

2010 Topps Chrome Baseball Hobby Case Break - superfractor

Congrats on the superfractor! Whether or not it's a prominent player, there's just something cool about having that 1/1. :D Is your Santos refractor auto for sale or trade?

    Need Some Help

Hey guys, I had a quick question about a basketball card I was looking to sell. I only collect baseball cards and have never sold before. While perusing through my collection I came upon a card I pulled out of a pack a long time ago. It's a 1998 Skybox Vin Baker Blue Auto # 19/50. I have no...
