What did I just find? Original 69 Mets team negative?
It is most likely film used in the offset printing process. If it was an actual view camera negative that large it would have notches in the corner to identify the film stock used. Popular view camera sizes would have been 4x5 5x7 8x10.- studioclint

Nearly five years since Topps got exclusive

Why are baseball cards 2.5 inches by 3.5 inches? Thoughts?
My guess would be something like this. Probably the best dimensions to completely fill the sheet of paper for printing.- studioclint

What would collectors be XXXXXing about if Topps didn't have the MLB Exclusive License?
I agree. I miss legendary cuts a lot. I also miss sweet spot. I feel like the look of cut signature cards have gotten a lot worse under the topps exclusive. A good portion don't even have pictures anymore.- studioclint
