In the span of about 30 days I found 2/4 printing plates of my guy in a 2013 Topps set. Then I picked up two different 1/1 of the same card!!
It will probably take me 30 years to get the other 2 plates tho...
I'm trying to locate two former Giants for TTM - one just retired recently:
Aubrey Huff
Shawn Estes
I think Estes may still be involved with Reno AAA club on Television?
Just my opinion, I can't stand Ultra Pro. Yes, they are sturdy and archival but... The cards POP right out of the top of the sleeve when you turn pages. It's just nonsense. Why, Why, Why would any collector want that???
My preferred brand keeps cards safe and secure and is 100% archival...
34 years and going strong. I skipped some time for personal reasons, but I'm still in it, still here, and still accumulating. Haven't sold a card yet...
Kent was a real nice player at the start of his career. Then when he went to S.F. his numbers exploded. Barry Bonds was a definite influence.
I don't think he was one of the greatest of all time. I don't think he was the best 2B of his era. And I don't think he was regularly considered...
I actually kinda like the combo players cards. Only problem for me is that I hardly ever agree with the player choices.
I'd like to see a combo card of the same player, three different pictures, three different jerseys!
I just broke a box of 2002 UD Rookie Update. 15 packs with an alleged 5 cards per pack. Every single pack had less than 5 cards??
This ever happen to anyone else?
What gives?
Of course he should get 100%. Anyone who even remotely followed baseball would know about him and his awards and accomplishments.
If not - then what exactly is the point of the Hall of Fame?
