I don't think what you have said is correct. It was not protocol at Fleer to create two cards for the MPs and hold one as a replacement. Further, if you look at the uncut MP basketball sheets someone posted the link too, none of them were stamped with the final lettering. So it Fleer did not... -

Hi, if anyone is bidding on the 1998 MP listed by Probsetin, it is a fake as I own the real one. The person took a sheet cut card and stamped it themselves, poorly. There is also a Jeter listed that I know the real collector who has it. The Jeter listed has an even worse stamp on the back... -

I agree it is horrible what is going on. The fact that the listing is also outright false does not help. I have a number of the star players from the set, so it is irritating to see these sheet cuts, let alone positioned as "proofs". Everyone just calls these sheet cards or what ever... -

Yes, you are right, it is mainly focusing on high end cards, where the fakes and fraud generally take place. No one is going to care about 1994 Fleer Ultra cards, but Gem Masters, PMGs, E-X Credentials are ones collectors will be concerned with. In addition, stories on how the cards were... -
