I sell a decent amount of PSA cards, so I usually pack 5-10 base/commons on each side of the card as extra padding during shipping. And I've gotten quite a few "thanks for the extra cards" comments from the buyer, too, so it's a win-win.
Wantlists are attached below. Looking for a decent amount of 2015 Bowman's Best base and refractors to complete my sets. I have plenty of 2015 Best (or others) to trade in return; singles, refractors, colored refractors, Mirror Image, Autos, Hi-Def, etc.
Just found this blog, and seems like it's pretty much right-on with the "multiplier" values...The big-name prospects in a PSA 10 will usually go for about double the raw value, and PSA 10's will typically get about 10% more than a BGS 9.5. And being an Engineer, I like the fact that it's...
The new BA Prospect Handbook!! I look forward to this coming out each year. For anyone who doesn't know, this is a great guide to the top 30 prospects on each team, ranks the top 100 overall (along with Tools rankings), and at worst, it makes for some good bathroom reading!! It's definitely...
Kyle Tucker and Ian Happ, based on prices of 2015 Bowman's Best Gems. Acuna is ridiculous right now, and Gleyber's been going up. Rafael Devers is going up significantly, too.
The registry is a huge factor...Whether it's a certain set, certain team, or a certain player, people are always competing to have the best. PSA's registry and website are well-organized, and Beckett's pretty much sucks from an organizational standpoint.
I've done about 25-30 crossovers from...
Well, that's exactly what I'm trying to figure out...Between Ebay and Paypal fees, you end up paying about 13%. For example, one of the cards I have is a 1982 Ripken Topps PSA 10. The fees from Probstein would only be 12%, and I wouldn't have to deal with listing the card, shipping it, worrying...
Hello,
I got some good cards inbound from PSA, and I'm considering selling them through one of the big consigners on Ebay, like Probstein or PWCC, for example. Just wondering if anyone has experience dealing with them, if it's worth it, etc. Thanks!!
Need some 1981 votes in there...
With the stipulation of them being high-grade copies, I'd vote for the following:
I second the vote for the '81 Topps Valenzuela. It was a hot card for quite a few years. And seriously, how could you not include someone who had a "mania" named after him?
I'd...
So, PSA was running a PSA/DNA special in June (50% off, even for non-members). I have a bunch of old TTM autos, so I thought it was a great deal and sent in about 30 cards last week. I just got an email from them today stating:
You did not choose to have your cards encapsulated which means that...
Great list, and nice write-up! Can't really argue with any of your picks. Just wondering, did the '88 Gregg Jefferies Donruss make it near the top? Maybe an even better discussion would be the next 10 cards on the list after the top 10.
