    I was at a local card show today and someone had a quarter box with Brewers cards all in semi ridged holders. I almost fell over when I seen 3 1998 Burnitz TEK's with one of them being a diffractor.

    Everything is at most $1 at the Dollar Tree. I buy greeting card there for $1 or 2/$1. There are other Dollar "stores" that are more .than $1

    Is Bryce Harper overrated and just a semi-star and NOT a mega-star as we thought?

    Harper is a mega-star, but he reminds me of Eric Davis. I think the injuries will damper his career though.

    Revered teams that never won

    I'm not talking about a cities best team. Like in the case of Milwaukee, the few times the Brewers are any good the 1982 Brewers are brought up. Occasionally there are 82 Brewers reunion signings. For a team that never won the World Series. Are there 2001 or 1995 Mariners reunion weekends?

    The 1982 Milwaukee Brewers are a revered team in the state even though they did not win the World Series. Are there any others teams in other cities that never won that are put up on pedestals? 1984 Padres? 1986 Astros?

    Segura had a phenomenal first half. The second half more down to earth. Rickie Weeks better not get 600 PA 's for his contract to be extended for the 2015 season.

    I tried looking at old photos of World Series games. It seems that starting between in he 1969 Series that the dress was not the suit and tie.
