No... Where did you hear that?
He is a good signer through his foundation, well, I know a few years ago he was with a donation.
Edit: just noticed OP said he emailed the foundation. No clue what goes on with that. I know a few years ago, I sent a letter and donation and got a legit Young auto...
Haha what a joke. If the new moderating is, "you might have an opinion, but just shut up and move on", posts are going to get even more scarce around here. God forbid two people voice their different opinions on a message board.
So it would pretty much have to be an exact artist reproduction to get you in copyright trouble? Just wondering because it is obvious the artist referenced that picture when creating the card. There might not be dirt on the helmet but it is exactly the same down to the curl of hair coming from...
Question, how does it work when the artist clearly uses a copyrighted picture for their inspiration? Just asking because it was mentioned that the artwork is from the mind of the artist, when that is clearly not the case for the Montana card listed on the sell sheet. Not trying to cause a stir...
If he approached you, and wants your cards that aren't even for sale, he should be making an offer, not you. I wouldn't even take him seriously if he won't make you an offer.
Who is beating a dead horse? It's not like an explanation was ever given.
I didn't bring this up because I hate Leaf, hell, I just got one of the orange Matrix 1/1s in the other day. I thought collectors might care about something like this, apparently not. I will let it go now, I'm already...
I am simply talking about who is a better NFL prospect. Manning was not the clear cut #1 pick in 1998, Leaf could have easily been #1 . In fact, if I remember correctly, most of the Colts staff actually wanted Leaf.
I never see Manziel projected as a #1 pick. Ever. He may very well get...
There is your original statement. Now you are going in all different directions.
How about you pick up this discussion when there is serious talk about Manziel being the number one pick in the NFL Draft. Ryan Leaf could have easily been the number one pick. Manziel won't sniff the first round.
What? I understand hindsight is 20/20 and it's easy to bash Ryan Leaf now, but in no way shape or form is Manziel a better college prospect for the NFL than Leaf was.
I don't mind them and think these look great. Can't quite put my finger on where I have seen orange etched chrome like 1/1 parallels being sold by a card company via auction before though...
Thanks Brad.
Everything I've done so far, I've just used regular frames from Michaels. Not sure if that will be the case when I start framing the jerseys.
I haven't picked up much cardboard lately as I have been making some custom mats and framing them. I have a few more in the works and then plan to start on the four signed jerseys I have, Michael Floyd, Jerome Bettis, Joe Theismann and Reggie Brooks.
Here is what I have done so far...
