1995 Bowman Best QUARTER Refractors Test

Sweet Hmm, haven't seen these tests before. Wonder how many players are out there? Probably only a handful.

    Large submitter Selling Altared cards

That thread is a must read. Long, but it's like a Lifetime movie for card collectors. Set aside some time and enjoy.

Oh Super Sweet 90's Inserts.... #3

No view = no thrill I can honestly say that I checked ebay for Manny Ramirez card listings on at least 99% of days for a solid 15 years...so this is new territory for me. I would occasionally miss a BIN that was listed too cheap, but even that was pretty rare. Over the past year or so I have...

Great job with the info and pictures! Here's Manny Ramirez #147 CTA unreleased. I've got 9 total crusade cards for Manny: pack issued, executive prrof XX/#, and these unreleased CTA. I have it in the back of my mind that there may be a 4th version, that being the regular pack issued version...

1995 pinnacke artisit's proof silver foil variation...

I think "Silver Foil variation" is another way of saying "regular artist proof." In all seriousness, I think it was the guy with the Thomas rainbow foil one above was calling the regular one the silver foil variation. Which, in effect it was. But only next to the rare rainbow foil version.

Ha! Enjoy. Just don't be too graphic on telling us how that goes... ;)

It's some dolt that doesn't check this thread often enough any more or have enough time for cards lately! What do you wanna see? Aside from what Pinnacle man has, I have most other things ;)

So I found this possible 1/1 today

That's a hoot. You'd think Carson Kelly looking at the serial # error in disbelief would have been a clue...

Baseball Booms, Minor Leaguers Still Exploited

I guess the most amazing thing to me is that more than 99% of the players in the majors spent a good amount of time in the minors. But when it comes to compensating minor league players enough so they could even afford to live on their income, their actions in terms of contracts and...

Baseball Booms, Minor Leaguers Still Exploited

http://camdendepot.blogspot.com/2018/03/baseball-booms-minor-leaguers-still.html?m=1 Interesting article, especially in light of all the whining and posturing by major leaguers this off-season. I vaguely recall that minor league players were way underpaid. But this is pretty ridiculous. I'd...

97 Pinnacle XPress Metal Works - Bronze, Silver, Gold, & WTF??

It's a.... headache for player collectors! ;) JK, that is pretty neat. Never seen one before. It looks like it is set up a little different, like they didn't leave enough room at the top for the serial numbering. It looks like the "Metal Works" text is higher than on the pack versions. The...

Help! Does anyone have a 2009 A+G wood card in their collection?

I was really excited to land a 2011 A&G wood mini 1/1 Manny Ramirez- my first one! I got it in, and I had the same reaction you did. Is this a fake? It's smooth! It looked like somebody scanned a copy of a legit insert card actually made of wood (y'know, like from the 90's?) scanned it, and...

Holy heck! That is a run of cards for sure. I don't recall seeing any of the Power Tools executive proofs of anybody before? Although, with the amount of execs that have come out lately it is getting hard to keep track. The 98 selects and the certified run look fantastic.

Top 10 Lowest Serial # Inserts of the 90s...that are not 1/1s.

Nice thread. I was pretty sure I'd be adding on the Roy Firestone auto's #/8 but it's in there! The only one I have off the top of my head would be another pacific honorable mention: 1999 Crown Royale Pivotal Players FanFest #/20

The Super Sweet Early 00's Thread

Cool! Never seen one of those before. Wasn't sure if they were /1 or /10 like the other wild vinyls and 2000 Pacific Prism Proofs... Although I suppose Vanguard had the silver parallels /10 so it makes sense. Neat to see.

Anybody see these? Ebay seller Dallascardshowroom recently listed some weird 1995 score/sportflix slides. They didn't seem to sell too well the first round, and they appear to be back up again. They are encased slides. They almost look like somebody just scanned a card and made a slide out...

Any details on that and whether it will be put up on the market? Just curious as this set looks great and is so rare.
