PC collectors, what to do?
You are obviously a Reds fan, so I say just collect all cards of him on your favorite team. I actually have a rule that I don't collect cards of my favorite Cubs if they are pictured with another non-cub on an autograph or GU card. Helps narrow the focus. The profit margin on gaming packs is much better than on sports packs. You routinely make 100% profit on a box of Magic The Gathering. Sometimes much more. Well, he has been mashing his entire minor league career, thus the excitement. Albert Pujols wasn't supposed to play in 2001, but he mashed in spring training and the Cards had no choice but to play him in the show. Cubs fans are always optimists when we see potential. Then we get nervous when things start really going well. The cards will probably be sold at a loss in the midst of an MVP season because in our guts, we will expect a career ending injury. :benson:- James52411

Am I the only one with zero interest in graded cards?
My only interest is in having an opinion a vintage card wasn't trimmed or faked. I suppose it can be useful on an internet purchase to have an opinion on surface, which isn't easily observable on a scan. Otherwise, I really don't care and certainly don't want to pay a premium for a grade of Mint...- James52411
