Looking for advice on selling old memorabilia

My mother-in-law has 2 late 1920s-early 1930s wool warm-up sweaters from Ray Blades of the Cardinals. She is looking to sell them and asked me where to do it at. I'm not sure, I've only dealt with ebay. So I was hoping that you guys might have some suggestions on where would be the best place to sell them through.

Try a local auction house. They'll put them on display in their lobby for 2-4 weeks and do all the foot work as far as promotion and contacting their sports memorabilia buyers.

Provide documentation/photos if available.
