Imagine if you were doing your hourly eBay search for your guy's 98 Tek and found something like this:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/1998-Topps-...0993325579?pt=US_Baseball&hash=item540ce1020b

Krukcards somehow acquired a monster Chipper Jones collection a while back; they've had several GU and #'ed lots and low #'ed singles for sale/auction over the last months. That's a huge piece right there, bet they get stupid money for it.

I see they also have a few Chipper Diffractors up as well. They might be a little high on those ($39.99 starting).

Wow:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/1998-TOPPS-TEK-BASEBALL-37-CARD-COLLECTION-LOT-NO-DUPLICATES-STARS-NICE-/390882501369

I was in on this, mostly for the Helton Diffractor, but it went way above where I wanted to go. Wonder if the seller had any idea about the 4 Diffractors hiding in there!

Still, that is ridiculous money for four non-star Diffractors. It's almost like reverse psychology with these auctions, people THINK they are getting a deal, so they bid higher than they would if it had been listed correctly. Used car lots do the same thing with damage - they don't fix it. People think they are getting a deal regardless of price.

Just a longshot, but do a COMC search for 2015 cards. You'll find a ton of cards with no player name and/or set name and/or other info. Seems to be how they dump stuff yet to be catalogued. I was searching Jays cards recently and saw a couple of Tek Clemens.

You'll have a lot to search through though so it might not be worth the effort.

If you ever decide you don't need 3 sets of same card#/pattern# Toga I could certainly use a #48 Burnitz!

(Also need a pattern 15 to put this to bed!)
