One of those is a diffractor, just as he states. Just hard to tell. Not a deception.

That was me who got the deal on the Caminiti diffractor.

I don't know why but Gwynn base is very hard to come by. Gwynn base doesn't show up very often. None available on comc, beckett marketplace or sportlots. Very few overpriced stuff on ebay.

One of the lots included 8 diffractors. It went for real cheap. I was going to bid on it but got busy at work. I did manage to win 2 of the base lots. I don't think the lots went for that much considering how much shipping money a collector can save by not paying shipping on individual cards.

HOLY CRAP! I see what you are saying! One of those Gwynn lots was LOADED with Diffractors and sold for just $22! I totally overlooked it because I thought all the lots were base! What an incredible deal...

I had seen those and emailed him an offer before auction ended. Said he had a $200 offer on them at the time. Doubt they got sold in the auction, but maybe.

"Dear gracecollector,

I have had two more offers. One for $200.00 and another for 120.00 from Ebayers.

I will let auction take its course.- djsewell58"

I think he's full of it.No one is dumb enough to pass up a $200 offer like that.

Why did this guy just list his Diffractors as base? And why the hell did he just scan the back of the cards? You would think someone who collects Gwynn as much as he does would be more knowledgeable to list them properly.I noticed he sold a bunch of vintage cards for next to nothing too.

Looks like he knew the difference between base and diffractors since he listed the diffractors in a seperate lot.
