Well tally another win for Minnesota in spring training. Today the Twins Defeated the Reds 10-4 improving their grapefruit league record to 2-0. So far so good for the ball-club

Yea really, I was suprised when I looked at the box score and saw he gave up all 4 runs.

Blackburn is awesome, but its hard to tell. Top 2 will probably be Baker & Liriano order still unclear. Then I'd put Slowey Blackburn Perkins in any order because they are all so good. However the rotation looks this year, we're stacked with great young guys who've proved they can pitch

Any of you Twins fans still have high hopes for Delmon? I'd love to hear something that indicates some positive progress...

Of course we are...he had a really nice 2nd half of the year last year. He's WAY too young to write him off as a "bust." He's got tons of talent...hopefully we'll see him break out in 2009.

Also I picked up the 1/1 Contenders Shooter Hunt auto for $140. I thought it was a good buy. :D

If you see some posts above, we visited this subject a little bit yesterday.

The Twins coaching staff looks like they're finally knocking some sense in to Delomn. Enough so that he appears to be listening to advice about changing the way he handles the bat in his stance, and that he be hustling more. They're probably also trying to get him to do more sliding as he tends to slow down so he doesn't over run the bag.

This is huge year for Delmon. He did come on the second half some last year. With an already light hitting OF, he needs to provide some bigger power #'s. One thing though that people overlook. Is the DOME is not a home run park. Whoever gave it the HomerDome nickname couldn't be more wrong. Especially for right handed batters.

Nice pickup Greg, 87' Donruss/Leaf is my favorite massproduced era card set. :)

I must have overlooked those posts. Thanks for the optimism. I'm sitting on way too much of his stuff, so this is good news. Can't wait for the season.
