So what exactly is that purple?

They made the 1992 Fleer pre-production samples in both purple and green. Supposedly the purple is limited to 5 and the green to 100 but I doubt those numbers are acurate. I made a thread when I got the purple and I think there is more info in that thread.
As far as I know, it's just Puckett. Those 2 variations are the only 2 I've ever seen anyway from the 1992 Fleer Pre Production. There could be other players, but not to my knowledge. In the 1992 Fleer Ultra Pre Production's, there are a few different players though: Ozzie Smith (2 versions), Tony Gwynn (2 versions), Roger Clemens (2 versions), Todd Van Poppel (2 versions), Rey Sanchez (2 versions), Royce Clayton (2 versions). I have the set of those.
