Albies hit his 5th triple of the season and has now reached base safely in 16 of his last 17 games. He's got a .288 avg/.817 OPS on the season
Ender Inciarte also hit his 11th HR of the season

Meanwhile Luiz Gohara is making his major league debut. Aside from the 1st inning HR his stuff has looked very good, he's just been unlucky to have a horrible umpire behind the plate. He should have a couple more strikeouts, a couple less walks & one less earned run. By the stat line you'd think his command has been poor but in reality the umpire has fu**ed him.

Ender really knows how to collect 'em hits in double headers this year!

He's got 5 tonight (HR, 3 RBI) and since it's only the 2nd inning he'll have at least 3 more chances.

Not only does he project to finish the season with 200+ hits, but he's now on pace to score 100 runs!

Freddie Freeman's wrist must be feeling a little better, he's now put up four straight multi-hit games and with one more hit tonight he'll have five.

His power stroke isn't fully there but he just missed hitting a grand slam by literally a few feet. A 2 run double isn't a terrible consolation prize though.

2017 Season Stats - .321 avg 24 HR 63 RBI 1.033 OPS 7 SB (55 XBH/.295 ISO)

To no one's surprise, BA voted Acuna their Milb POY.

lol, I just created a thread regarding that.

He was also named MLBPipeline's Hitter of the Year & USA Today MiLB Player of the Year

However, he was not ESPN's Prospect of the Year. That went to Vladimir Guerrero which was both surprising and not surprising at the same time. If it had to be someone other than Acuna I would argue Hays & Bichette were more deserving than Vlad.
