Trying to get some more information on the 1990's Braves Lykes sets, especially the McGriff years (1993 - 1997)

Beckett lists 1993 & 1994 Standard and Perforated versions. I have the 1993 Standard and the 1994 Standard and Perforated. Does anyone know if the 1993 Perforated McGriff truly exists. I have never seen this version and would love to see a scan if anyone has one.

Also, have heard there may be other years as well. So trying to find out if there are Lykes sets for 1995, 1996, 1997. If so, are there both perforated and standard for each year.

I would appreciate any information on these issues.

I think I have a couple of Braves Lykes cards but I will have to look for them. I have no clue who or what year but I will let you know if I find them.

I saw the McGriff Lykes card that ended on Ebay the other day. It may have been a 94. I don't have it but I missed out on bidding on it. It brought more than I expected. If you are collecting McGriff we should talk sometime since I collect him as well.

BenG76, if I am not mistaken that was the 1993 Standard. They don't come up that often and they always bring more than I expect as well. I do collect McGriff, pretty much the only thing I collect these days. I have been collecting him since 1989 with some down periods along the way.

Thanks cbrandtw! I appreciate you taking the time to look.

Picked up 1993 & 1995 Lykes Perforated. I believe the only Lykes I need is the 1995 Standard. If anyone has this single McGriff or the entire set I would be very interested in purchasing.

Still looking for the 1995 Lykes Standard McGriff. I know several collectors looking for various players in this set. Hopefully someone might have this set lying around somewhere or be able to provide a lead on this extremely hard to find regional issue.

If I ever come across it, I'll gladly send the McGriff to you. Also, just out of curiosity do you have the Bryan Braves 1997 perorated or standard cards? Until a week ago, I didn't even know they were produced in '97.

I will do the same with the Maddux and send it to you if I ever find it. I was not aware that there was a 97 Bryan perforated. I knew there were Bryan sets in 1998 - 2002 or 03 but McGriff was already out of Atlanta by then. Do you by any chance have a pick of what the 97 Bryans look like. Being that this is the first we are hearing of them, I'm guessing that they are going to be just as hard to track down as the 1995 Lykes Standards.

After searching Worthpoint I came across this perforated set. I was really shocked to see that this existed especially since the 2011 SCD standard catalogue specifically states that there was a year break between Lykes and Bryan when no hot dog vendor cards were produced. Finding this killed that theory. The McGriff is right next to the glare in the photo. I have no doubt that there is a sister standard set out there as well, but nothing to confirm it as of yet. Here is the link to the 1997 Bryan Braves perforated set:

I can't believe I've never seen this thread before. I love regional stuff. I have a ton of it in my chipper collection. If anyone has that 97 Bryan sheet I'd be interested. I have a 98.

94 lykes cards, fold out sheet and a proof. The framed sheet is one of my favorite buys but cracked in shipment.

I believe the others in this pic are 95. I've never seen a sheet so I don't know for sure
