Are you allowed to ask for gift here? Seems like any other forum does not allow you to and I haven't checked the rules on gift here. Seems like you should not be able to but if it's okay then GLWS.

Asking for Paypal gift is okay/does not break any rules. Many use this option when working with others they have a rapport/prior dealings with so it is up to the buyer to choose wisely. The only thing currently listed in the Transaction Forum Rules and FAQ in regards to Paypal gift is the following:
PayPal Gift Payments:
Just a heads up to everyone, those who choose to make payments on the board using the "gift" option on Paypal, you have no recourse on those payments and there isnt anything we can do for you. Please keep this in mind and be careful.
