Quiet week. So I got bored and toyed around with some customs. I have never made any before so I am no Moushi by any means. But they turned out better than I thought they would and I learned some tricks along the way so the last 2 came out way better than the first two! I would actually love to use these for TTMs and they'd look sweet. However I used them for cuts for some autos I had on non-Brewers items and that's where it gets difficult. If anyone has any tips for cutting the window let me know! (But I think I'd get better results with a lighter card stock, these were a tad thick)

Very cool, might have to do that for some of my Mets autos...but I dunno if I have a catchy name like "crew cuts", nice!

Thanks! Played around with the assembly process with much better results and easier cutting. Learning

This week's big pickup was a 1998 Topps Vault contract signed by pitcher Geremi Gonzalez. Gonzalez was hit by lightening and passed away in 2008. Nice rare signature NOT on a Cubs item (whom he spent more time with than Milwaukee)

Cool pickup , no idea he died by lightning. That's crazy

Thanks. My borders need work or to disappear altogether! Pics print a little dark too but I liked how they turned out. Made some for TTMs too

LCS had a nice sale on 8x10s (some for $3/each) so today brought in Alfredo Figaro, Elian Herrera, Travis Ishikawa, Chris Narveson, and Rob Wooten all on 8x10's. Have another amazing find (for me anyway!) incoming.

Got this item in today. Was able to find a 1973 Iowa Oaks (White Sox) Scorebook from a game against the Evansville Triplets (Brewers) with 9 signatures between the front and back covers. Notables include Denny McLain of the Oaks, Ed Rodriguez (d), and the moderately tough Ray Newman (who flat doesn't sign). But the one I needed is on the back cover: Carlos Velazquez. "Carlin" appeared in 18 games of relief between July 20th and September 29th 1973. He would pitch 4 more years in the minors before returning home to Puerto Rico. Mr. Velazquez passed away in 2000.
