The fronts look a bit like Topps glossy all-star send-in cards from the late 80's. Can you post a pic of some of the backs?

looks like 83-85 unlicensed especially with those grainy photos.

I recently had a conversation with mmopar about two similar cards of Steve Garvey. Here was his explanation:

I believe they are generally considered to be called KG Graphics. There was a set of about 20 different cards. I have heard that they were supposedly a prototype for new Donruss designs and I have also heard that they are considered a non-licensed broders. They are not that easy to find (especially for a border card) and there are people trying to sell them on ebay for a gross amount of money at times.

I know that PSA has graded a Ron Kittle card. It was called "1983 KG Glossy".

These have long been sold as 1983 Topps Glossy All-Star Prototypes. I believe they are even catalogued as such somewhere.
