Even though I just got the Gehrig I saw this and couldn't pass it up. It is of Cornelius McGillicuddy
But some know him as Connie Mack. It is on an American League ball. Single signed in blue steel tip pen- jsa authenticated. It also has a cool story with it- the sister was selling her brothers baseball who got it in person in 1946 and has kept it ever since. Didn't realize Mack was a player and at one time you could tell the pitcher to throw high or low- depending on what you wanted- and he hit pretty good. Once that rule changed and pitchers realized he couldn't hit the low pitches he was an easy out. He was sort of a pioneer for catchers.
