Nice work with those Alomar's

I especially like the addition of the gold and silver press proofs on the 98 Donruss "rainbow"

Really excellent work everyone. It is fun to see some of these old parallels in "rainbow" form :)

Here is a challenge for someone??

Remember the old pacific cards where they would put the embossed stamp on some of the card from the different shows? Anyone have say a 1998 Pacific Paramount (any player) with the Copper/Gold/Red/Blue/Silver holofoil and all of the stamps?? Not sure if that is even possible but would be pretty amazing.

No your eyes are fine, it's just the light. Photos inside were crap so I hobbled like Gollum with *my precious cards* out to the back deck to get pics in sunlight. This worked OK for the SPX holograms but those 96 leaf foil stamps don't look right. But they are the bronze, silver, gold.

I thought that 1995 score "rainbow" was fun, mostly because of the punched redemption card. Love that one. But the 1997 SPX - with the Force cards - has to be my all time favorite. For the most part Topps (and Panini) have forgotten how to make cards that cool. Mostly. One exception that comes to mind is the 2015 Topps Tribute "To the Victors" series. Die Cut, printed on plastic, totally unique design. Wish we could get some designers from these companies to chime in. Boards like this NEVER hear from the people who actually create this stuff...

Those 96 Leaf Alomars don't have the foil oval (Gold, Silver, Bronze) like the rest do. Are they all that way or are my eyes tricking me?

I see them now that I am really looking hard. They kind of blend in with his body in that picture.
