Do you avoid oversized cards or is Johnson severely under represented in that area?

Quick question - so, for the 90 diffractor patterns, do you count those as attainable? or don't count them at all? I notice you mentioned it's your 5th diffractor, but you're only missing 31 cards from 1998. Looks like you don't count the diffractors separately at all...but not sure how you choose to look at those.

Congrats on the amazing achievement!

I use the term "attainable" for anything serial #d out of 99 or more (unless I have it), although that rule really made more sense in the early 2000s than now. Just a way of making the collecting a little more realistic in terms of cards likely to ever be found & completion %.

I've also deleted a lot of 1/1s and #/5 stuff from my full checklist just to clean it up a tad, the diffractors were part of that. At 5-10 copies each and having only found 5 in ~8 years of RJ collecting I don't consider them attainable. I just add them back onto it as I get them, which is like once a year.

I really enjoyed perusing your PC stats. I keep similar stats but never seen someone else's before. A few random comments...

The "attainable" column is a nice idea. I do something similar, to make myself feel better about the low percentage of "total cards" I have. I keep stats for "total cards minus 1/1", "playing career", and playing career minus 1/1". Stupid 1/1's.

1677 unique cards from 2007, are you kidding me? That is *bananas*.

2 unique cards in 2011. Funny how this fluctuates. My PC has 581 in 2003, then 0 in 2006, 1 in 2009, and now 244 in 2015. Gah...

Only 4 oversize cards? Would have guessed many more, but certainly take your word for it.

8256 unique cards is staggering. And still only 40% of the number I've heard for A-rod. This also is *bananas*.
