Good morning. Got a package from my dad yesterday, inside of it was jerky from the deer we got a couple of weeks ago. He got another one thanksgiving and is making more jerky this weekend

I have only found one beef jerky that I like after having homemade deer jerky. To me, I can taste all of the preservatives in store bought stuff and the texture doesn't work for me after eating my dads

Oh I know homemade is always better. For me, it's gotten to where I won't even consider buying jerky at the store. Not that the high price stops me anyway
