I have landed a few Sandberg when I can get them for a decent price. My 7 year old daughter has pulled quite a few from packs, the coolest was a 1974 Padres, but unfortunately not a Winfield.

As I've noted, I'm a big fan of these, and that is quite a collection of Kirby's you have gathered! My one big complaint is with the 1990 Topps All-Star. The stamping just looks cluttered. I know there are some other similar issues on other cards, but the 1990 All-Star is the one that I keep seeing.

Here is my updated Puckett collection. I am really searching for a 1988 Topps Base Gold Foil if anyone finds one. Its the last one I need for the rainbow.

Got in my 2nd Thome Rediscover card! It's the 1993 Gold card. It looks even better than the Silver I have of the same year. Do you player collectors put these cards in with the 2017's or in the year the card came out, like 1993?

I catalogue them as 2017 Topps in my Puckett collection. I add the actual year and card detail being base or all star in my notes section.

I put them in 2017 - there is no other internal way to know they are from 2017 otherwise. I catalog them this way in hard copy and on my site. On my site though, I also notate what the card is, so that way I can have them come up in search however I want them. For instance, if I search "rediscover" this shows up:

http://www.tanmanbaseballfan.com/my-have-list?bwg_search=rediscover&page_number_0=1

But if I search 1993 Topps -bowman -stadium this comes up:

http://www.tanmanbaseballfan.com/my-have-list?bwg_search=1993 Topps -bowman -stadium&page_number_0=1

I *love* seeing the same card, but in different types of sets altogether. It satisfies my need to have everything in order by year, but allows me to see them together, without getting them out of order. :)

So here's a weird one...I bought a Maas 1991 Topps from eBay...got it in the mail today, and the card is actually a 1991 O-Pee-Chee. Kind of cool.

If anyone comes across the Albert Belle versions let me know. I think there are two versions but not sure... not much has spiked on eBay and also Beckett hasn't added them to player checklists yet.

Will they? They never added the A&G 10th Anniversary cards. I assumed these wouldn't be added either.

Question to all of you like-minded collectors: I purchased what was listed as a 2017 Rediscover "Red" buyback which turned out to be a "Bronze.

I just had this happen too. I bought a lot that was supposed to have 5 red cards (among others) and it turned out that those 5 were all bronze. I had even contacted the seller to confirm that the card I wanted was red before I bought the lot. I guess I'll eventually get a refund from ebay (the seller wasn't too helpful), but I wish Topps had used colors that were easier to differentiate in scans and photos.

Yup, those look gold and silver. I think it's mostly the bronze and red that are hard to tell apart.

Finally located a Rediscover 1992 Topps Bronze for one of my guys, Scott Stahoviak, first Stahoviak I've found. If anyone has other Rediscover cards of him, or sees Stahoviak in a lot, I would appreciate a heads up, thanks! He misses out on the years that seem to be primarily included, and has base Topps cards from 1992, 1997, and 1998.
