Looking forward to seeing Sanchez goes "Beast Mode" this season...what's the predicted HR count for him?

So...AROD having an expanded role in training? Where does that leave Girardi? Thoughts?

It leaves Joe with even more time to thumb through his binder and reassure himself that even though his reliever is still looking strong after a 1-2-3 6th throwing 12 pitches, that the binder is always right and he MUST pull said pitcher.

I really hope it's less of that this season.

Yankees won in arbitration against Betances. Instead of just moving on, Yankee prez Randy Levin ripped Betances in a conference call, saying that kind of money goes to elite closers. Very classy.

Read an article about it, bad look IMO. I understand not wanting to pay more than you have to but bragging about it and ripping pretty much seals the deal that he'll walk which sucks

Maybe with the two million saved the team can sign back Stephen Drew.

Otherwise, what a dumb thing for the team to do.

If Drew is signed I think it really makes them contenders

The Yanks have been doing this for years, even under George's tenure. He would never go 10000% to keep their own guys, it was always the "flavor of the month/season/off-season" that was the apple of his eye. Remember what happened with Andy Pettite?

This was more than foolish of Levine, bordering more along the lines of trying to prove a point to nobody but himself. Great job Randy, great job.

May 14th they are going to retire Jeter's number. The Yankees are raising the price for tickets for that day. Bleacher seats will be 140 to 155 dollars. Thats a 604 percent increase over the same seat prices on the 13th. Very fan friendly
