I'm not saying your wrong, just stating that could have been their thinking.

Are you kidding me? 1990 marked the 20th anniversary of their 2nd set. That in and of itself makes it legit!

In all honesty, it is possible that an Upper Deck worker (either going rogue, an honest mistake or just testing out the process) did these, though they were never meant to see public. Frankly, it doesn't matter to me - They are just as desirable either way.

Here's some pics of that box I built in high school. I still use it for supplies for my ever growing collection and the bulk of my Puckett doubles...
That's a really nice card box. How long did that take you?

Thank you! I made that box my senior year and was only able to make two things that year. Since I built it in wood shop, it took me at least a quarter to half the school year to finish.

While Kirby was never the focus of my collection, I have a decent collection of cards, autos and oddballs of Puck. Many in my Photobucket, but I'll scan some more this week. I'll start things with this one. One of my favorites.

Collecting Gary and Joe Gaetti, Ozzie Smith, Kenny Boyer, Albert Pujols, Kirby Puckett, Joe Mauer, and Brian Dinkleman. PM me if you have something you don't need that I might!

And if you want to friend me on Facebook, please let me know your online handle, since I may not know your real name!

Picked these up in the last year. My only game used Puckett stuff that isn't cut up into a card.

Here's a Visalia Oaks minor league game ticket that I was able to snag from eBay many years ago. It was listed and I the high bidder and the auction was pulled. A few weeks later the seller reappeared and listed the ticket again and the auction ran to completion. If I remember correctly, I ended up paying a little less than my previous high bid before the auction was pulled.
