Matt, I love that Bronze /10! I had to buy two of them since I never received the first one. The post office claims it was stolen from my mailbox and opened a case for me. Yours is my favorite that I've seen this far. I absolutely love that set though, there's so many variations to that card available with different material, if that's your thing that is.

I saw that "complete" set and had a chuckle. I have close to 3,400 cards or so and could easily add another 500+ cards that I don't have already and still not have a complete set, lol.

Josh, thanks for the optic update, I'll need to pull the checklist so I know what I'm looking for.

Take care, Jeremy

I believe the previous owner probably said "These are all my Pucketts" and they ran from there. On the plus side, it's well priced.

I guess I didn't realize there was an h2o parallel in 2017 Donruss Optic.

It raises a lot of questions.

Do you have to store this separately from all other cards so they don't get wet? Can you freeze these? If it's an Agua and you have it slabbed, can you put a fish in it like a fish tank?

Endless possibilities.

Haha yeah some people just don't know what they are doing when they list cards.

On another note, do any of you guys collect souvenir cups? I picked up a bunch as a throw in to a deal I did over the weekend. I'm looking to grab a few more if anyone has extras.

Anyone else have this one? I love stuff like this. 1988 Chef Boyardee No Black Ink Proof. It also doesn't have the typically perforations found on the regular cards.

Josh, that Chef Boyardee is awesome! I haven't seen that card before and I too love those type of cards. Thanks for sharing a picture of it. I've shown this to you already, but thought I'd post it here. It's along the same lines as that Chef Boyardee. It appears to be a black ink only 1990 Donruss Box bottom.

I’ve been fascinated with the amount of different material variation combinations that Panini uses in their releases. Before the recent Panini releases, particularly Pantheon, I had only noticed and purchased three other examples. I'm sure there are other examples out there and would love to know if you've seen/have something different.

The first three: 2001 UD Prospects & Premiers, 2003 Donruss Studio (could be debatable since it's just a different part of a batting glove) and 2006 Upper Deck Epic.

Here's a 2015 Panini Immaculate and National Treasures

2016 Panini Prime Cuts (I saw other material variations that included really old looking Killebrew material #/99 and #/25

2016 Panini Pantheon (So far, I've also seen two other examples of the Metropolis Monuments and a different Noble Timber, all #/99)

I normally do a very good job about not picking up doubles of cards I already have. However, I'm definitely making an exception for these cards. After all, I'm counting a card that includes just a period as different from one that is missing a period... =)

I picked these up recently. I really like this dual Puckett/Killebrew card:

Here's the standard issue of the card, but this is an error since it's missing the Killebrew material.

2017 Immaculate Swatches Red, sorry, the red doesn't come in very well with my scanner.

I was pleased to pick up the 2017 Topps Rediscover Buyback Silver 1993 Puckett card. Always liked that photo and card, and I think there have only been a handful of these on eBay this year. This was a quick BIN listing and find for me.

It made me wonder, does anybody have a master list of 2017 Puckett buybacks that we know were produced? Like, is there a 1991 out there? A 1992 base? I only have about 15 of them, I know a couple of you have a lot more than that, and have maybe had a couple that got away as well.

37346446652_d095ed09ed_z.jpg

I really try hard to focus my spending on cards from Puckett's playing days that I don't have, and not so much on the new products he's included in. So when 2017 Donruss and 2017 Donruss Optic came out with no logos (of course) and another average photo of Puck, my general thought was, "Meh. I guess I'll pick up the really cheap ones, but that's about it."

Thing of it is, within a few days of Optic's release, I saw a quick BIN listing for both the /50 Carolina Blue and the /99 Red, that was too good of a bargain to pass up. Then about three days later, I saw a quick BIN that was even better, the /5 Green for $45. So logically, I completely strayed from my spending goals.

Found respectable deals on the White Sparkle rewards card, and the /10 Gold, and I now have everything but the /1 Gold Vinyl (which I did not offer on, and sold for about $210 best offer on eBay in early August I believe), and the /25 Black.

Which begs the question, where are the other *23* /25 Blacks, because I believe only two have surfaced on eBay so far?? If anybody has one that you are looking to move, please let me know!

MatthewN - I wasn't the one who picked up the 1991 Topps Bronze or the Gold you referenced above. I needed the '91 base and hope others make their way to ebay.
rebelpawn - I liked that card and wish the non-auto version that exists would have actually been autographed. That set looked sharp!

Here's a couple new error cards that I recently picked up. I'm almost certain these are my first error cards that crossed two different subsets from a single release.

I bought a sheet of these errors and cut them out myself. I'm willing to sell the rest of the cards from the sheet and will create a new thread for them.

Was Jose on the sheet?

Those are very cool. The real question is, is there another Puckett card that features a dog? (I assume that was Marge Schott's dog)
