A co-worker asked me if I wanted to participate in this, and I've never seen anything like it. Everyone involved is putting in a few bucks and after baseball season is over the winner gets all the money.

It seems like it's going to be pretty fun doing the research and coming up with guesses for everything.

I did this a long time ago but nearly as complicated. For instance, a group of friends and I each picked whoever we wanted in the entire major leagues (I think we picked 5 players per category) and got points for whoever totaled the most (or least) for each category. I believe we had first and second place and the buy in was like $50.

As an example: Most HRs- Griffey, ARod, McGwire, Sosa, Bonds. Add these 5 guys' HR total up and if it was more than anyone else picked then I got 10 points (we had 10 guys participate). Whoever's 5 guys totaled the least amount of HRs would only get 1 point.

As you could imagine, we had a BUNCH of categories. It was a lot of fun. I don't know why we quit doing it. Good luck with your game.

Turned in my predictions yesterday.

I'm aware I botched the decimal point in the ERA pick. I started to put it in the right place, but for some reason put it at the front instead.

I intentionally took some chances and made some different picks because everyone playing are Cardinals fans, and nobody is going to win if everyone makes the same picks.
