I received an autograph back from Jay Johnstone today, which I will post later. I sent $10 and received the note on the back of the envelope asking me to let everyone know that for a $15 check made out to the Wounded Warrior Program that he will sign all the photos and/or cards that are sent. I'm passing this on, as a worthy cause that relates to a former major leaguer.

Really cool guy, and for a good cause. Might have to send him some Phillies cards from the 70's.

Johnstone used to come out to the bleachers at Wrigley and sell signed baseballs for 15 bucks. People could not believe it was actually but he was out there in full uniform hawking his baseballs. If memory serves me correctly the money went to ALS foundation. Jay has always done crazy stuff like this but always did it for charity.
