I have a Joe Panik auto and I'm not a Giant's fan so I'm trying to get rid of it, hopefully to buy a PC card.

There are a lot of things you can do to prevent getting scammed. Many of them involve knowing who you are dealing with.
Do you have a trade lined up? What are the details of it?
Use paypal and send with tracking. Don't accept a friends and family payment.
There is no chargeback protection at all if this method is used. (Exception is cc through PayPal.)What's the scam with a friends and family payment?
Well you can be via a credit card chargeback.Gotcha- I read that as the *seller* can be scammed
