Amazing cards guys! The 57 Mantle has always been one of my favorites too. Mine is a much lower grade, but I think has good eye appeal for the grade. ImageUploadedByFreedom Card Board1499905250.091658.jpg

Thanks! Here's an item I found I found at a local antique mall that I thought was pretty cool. The restaurant was actually less than three miles from where I live now. I did a google search and found an excerpt from a book a guy wrote, apparently Mantle would show up at the restaurant with a stack of these and sign them. I have no idea who Jack is, but for $60 bucks I couldn't pass it up. ImageUploadedByFreedom Card Board1499909571.480067.jpg

Those are insane. I have a small Mantle collection. Most are modern base/inserts but I do have a few
lower-end vintage and a couple game-used.

My late father once owned a '52 Mantle but it burned in a fire before I was born. I like picking up any reprints I can find.

I keep finding just a few more things that I left out on previous posts, before moving on to 1963!

A few more things I left out, through 1962.....I'll also edit those pages!
The 1951 Bowman Mantle that was lost in the mail, briefly listed on tracking as being run over by a USPS truck, then having that removed from tracking and then arriving as pictured. I got my money back, but what a waste!
