On the boardwalk and saw two collectibles stores (pretty sure owned by same person)

Pokemon, yugioh, star wars, figures, toys, etc.

Not a single sports card.

My local shop has like 10 options for baseball, four boxes on display, some random pre-2005 era packs, a buncha hockey, and a buncha pokemen

sadly
some stores can't justify taking on a few cases of a hot product, since they don't seem to have the foot traffic for sports cards. One by me could only afford to get a 5 cases in the last 6 months and didn't even get any of the Bowman or Platinum, my store owner says and if you want a lot of the hot stuff most the time they make you take just as many cases as the crap stuff too
