1949 Jackie Robinson All-Stars Barnstorming tour program. Jackie used to lead a team in the offseason that went around the country playing. Tough to find in decent shape.

After seeing one of these in the October thread, I decided to pick up my own copy of “Veeck as in Wreck.”

It’s a nice copy. It has no dust jacket, the Ex Libris label covers a slight bit of the signature and someone started to try and remove the label, but other than that, it is a really nice copy that I picked up for $9.99 + shipping. The binding is still nice and tight and I don’t think that it has been read.

It's worn and beaten up but it's a 1949 Jackie Robinson All-Stars program from a specific game. The program posted above was the standard program for the whole tour. It is reasonably rare, but not as tough to find as one like this.

That is an awesome card. I stopped collecting for a decade so i'm trying to catch up and learn about all of the cards that were produced during that time period which is a ton. Luckily I found a checklist that is helping.

The Gold Galarraga comes courtesy of dano7. Thanks for the awesome card!

The Ortiz is snowy but was nice and cheap. The Archives Galarraga was very cheap, nice to see the bubble on him has burst. Just picked up this on COMC for less than $6 (#'ed 7/25):
