Did not see any threads about these cards so thought I would start one.
These are just as hard to find as 98 Topps tek defractors.
There are 44 Juan Gonzalez cards on the list. I am missing 13 of them
12 of the 13 have never been seen.

These are the 2nd edition I am missing.

I need a bunch of Puckett's. They never seem to show up. I've busted a few boxes looking for them too. I'm not sure where all my extras are but if I find them I'll see if I have any you need. Once I update my list from a recent transaction I'll post my needs list too.

If anyone knows where any cases of this product are let me know. I would love to buy case and do team breaks with other people looking for exhibits.

Yeah these are tough. I have 17 Alomars from second edition, so am missing 27. Sheesh. Unfortunately I bring nothing to the party here in terms of information or help, but am always looking for missing Alomars (also missing 15 from first edition). Might be willing to go in on a break or two if anyone finds reasonable cases...PM me if this comes up!

I agree, these are tough to find for sure! Series 1 were sequentially numbered and series 2 were not. I tend to believe that the print run on series 2 are the same as their series 1 counterparts, just not numbered in the same way. I could be wrong on that, but they are harder to find than the series 1 versions.

I need eight series 2 Puckett's to complete the 44 card run and four series 1 to do the same there.

Here's the 8 series 2 that I need:
1921 American League (1921AML)
1939-46 Truly Yours Left (1939-46TYL)
1939-46 Very Truly Yours Right (1939-46VTYR)
1947-66 Made In USA Sig (1947-66MSIG)
1947-66 Printed By Donruss Playoff Print (1947-66PDPSCR)
1947-66 Printed In USA Sig (1947-66PDPSIG)
1962-63 No Stat Name Left (1962-63NSNL)
1962-63 No Stat Name Right (1962-63NSNR)

And the four series 1 that I need:
1926 Unblocked Legend (1926U)
1927 (1927)
1939-46 Best Wishes Right (1939-46BWR)
1939-46 Very Truly Yours Left (1939-46VTYL)

Thanks,
Jeremy

I rarely see 2nd series leaf boxes for sale. There is 1 on ebay for $60 8 pack box. Anyone know how many exhibits you get in a box?

Added a link to this to the player Collectors Thread! Good stuff! Not even sure what I have for Gwynn, but I know I passed on a lot of these unnumbered ones just because I was more focused on any numbered ones (which were hard enough!)

I do know the 2nd edition has the same print run as the serial numbered cards.

If anyone searching for these is going thru your boxes, I am looking for base card 2004 Leaf Second Edition Barry Bonds #195. Always hoping that someone will find one in a commons box.

Thanks,

Man that is close! Lotsa luck with those last few.

I have a lot more left but am narrowing the gap. I picked up 3 new ones from this ebay seller in the last week.

Thanks! I’ve been very aggressively hunting these beasts down. I hope I can find the last 8 at some point.

This has to hands down be the most frustrating set Puckett was ever in. I’ve always liked the simple design and how they were made to pretty much mirror the old school exhibit cards from back in the day. I held off on buying any when they first came out because I didn’t understand the checklist legend codes. Once I sorted that out it was easy to follow and understand.

Please let me know if anyone has the ones I need. I’ll gladly pay $50 per card as I mentioned.

Glad my guys weren't in this. The Studio Portraits (Murray) and Throwback Threads Polo Grounds (Erstad) had me crazy enough. Down to 6 Murray and 1 Erstad (not even difficult Bunt To Pitcher Out /35)
