Pulled this the other day. I redeemed it before I checked e-bay. The redemption card sells well. But maybe the auto itself will be better...

I hope topps is filling these faster than panini, I've been waiting on my optic benintendi since September

Topps has done well and fast for me before in the past but Panini has slowed WAY down. I have been waiting on one for 3 months now from them.....

Haven't been around much lately but did pick up a Nomar that I've seen looking for since about 2001...

Today's mail day. Finally got my 1989 Star Gastonia Rangers Glossy Jeff Frye for the PC. I just had to buy the entire sets with Ivan Rodriguez in them to do it. 500+ graded Pudges out there and I can't find a single Jeff Frye single from those broken sets.

I actually picked up a few different refractor parallels of Lemons, with this gold one being the best of the bunch. I absolutely love the arm action and mechanics going forward, and he strikes me as athletic enough to make mechanical changes as he progresses through the minors. I think that some command concerns will surface this year, but I trust my eye as far as the mechanics go and think this is a case of a guy growing into his body. I think he's a very overlooked pitcher in this year's draft set.

I was intrigued to see this one-of-one pop up two years after release. I think Allard has good mechanics with low risk for injury, and was very impressed by the his season as a nineteen/twenty year-old in the Southern League. He ended the year with five consecutive quality starts--a testament to how advanced he has been relative to his competition.

I don't think much needs to be said about Gore statistically. I'm slightly weary that his high school numbers were inflated by playing in a tiny North Carolina school, but I felt like there was value to be had with this purchase. It will be interesting to see how he performs in his first full year of professional ball, and how aggressive the Padres are in promoting him.
