I was going through some old boxes of cards. The big cards, magazines and so forth and found this. I know its not baseball but I was prob 10 around 1980 when I went to the local mall for a free signing. I forgot all about it. Wow that brought back some great memories as a kid...

What's a free signing?

Love Jaws, always a great guy in person. And it's cool they had a green pen to sign with. Most people back then wouldn't have thought of that...

Every now and then, around Cincinnati, Kroger or Cincinnati Bell will have a few Reds players (usually no name rookies) show up in their stores and do free signings. I'll dig up a pic of my boy getting Jay Bruce's autograph at a Kroger store in 2011.
