Went Thursday and Saturday. Lots of autos to be had. Here's how it worked. There were autograph appearances where a player would sign whatever you had, or a provided 8x10 photo, or both. In some cases, a player could only sign the photo because of contracts. At the Panini stage, players would sign whatever, but they were not big stars. At a Photo Op you could pose for a photo with a player, then you were given an auto'ed photo of that player as you left. No other autos allowed. Worked really well and kept the lines moving. Here's my haul. You can tell who sponsored who by the logos on the photos.

Sending this from my phone, so I hope it all comes through.

Lanyards from Verizon, so we could access the Verizon Up lounge. Nice to get a free drink, charge our phones and most importantly, warm up!

Selfie with Mike Golic at Radio Row at the Mall of America!

All in all, a fun time if you plan ahead and work the lines together you can get a ton of autos. Maybe we'll come down to Atlanta for next year's. Now who do I know in Atlanta?

Thanks all! For everyone's information, the autos are Eric Berry, Marcus Allen, Kirk Cousins, Jared Allen, Tim Brown, Derrick Brooks, Landon Collins, Reggie Wayne, Cam Jordan, Christian McCaffery, Marshon Lattimore, Maurice Jones-drew, Teddy Bridgewater, Kareem Hunt, Travis Kelce, Phil Simms, Greg Olson, Cris Carter. The four cards were from the Panini auto stage. If you had nothing for the player to sign, they had these ready. So there is Robert Woods, Kai Forbath (not at the table, but I managed to get an extra when I got Merrill Hodge's auto), Torry Holt (who was an unannounced signing. Marvin Jones was late, and Holt happened to be there, and stepped in for awhile. if only I had known) and Jake Ryan. Otherwise, their auto line up was pretty weak.

Oh, and about Panini...

I had hoped they would have a program like Topps has done at Fanfest where you can get some exclusive cards, buy some product and get something exclusive, promos, neat stuff like that. Maybe some reps there to answer questions about future products. They had pretty girls in tight pink t-shirts running the booth, handing out Sticker books (but no extra stickers) and running their Plinko game. The Plinko game had prizes of packs of cards--three Donruss base, and an assortment of inserts from Elite, Playoff and others. A nice sample pack. If you hit the center slot, you won an oversize card. Mostly Vikings (I got a Randy Moss and an Adam Thielen) a Brady and Foles for the game, a Peyton Manning, and someone else, but I forget who. So pretty disappointing to me. Their main plug was their online NFL Blitz game. Bleah. For being the only company licensed to make football cards, they really didn't do much for their brand. Oh, I forgot--they did make a set of cards for the 2017 class of Hall of Famers. But you had to get that from the Hall of Fame display, not from Panini. I have to find it now so I can scan it in. Would have been nice if they could have announced the 2018 class and had cards for them ready (Randy Moss!)

So there was a lot to like, a lot that could have been better. Didn't anyone else up here go?
