Rays using a four man rotation this year...

Might get ugly. One of your four will get injured and someone will end up in the rotation (one less "fifth day" starter) or the bullpen "fifth" day will tax the bullpen since bullpen days as defined by my Triple-A observations are relievers pitching 2-3 innings each. Do that with regularity and if the first four don't go very deep often and you're using your bullpen more than you want to.

I think it's a good experiment from a team that won't be contenders anyway. A young manager wants to play around with some things and he will have a great amount of experience from this.
That being said I think it will turn ugly fast and will be disastrous....but I like Cash's moxie
