I'd hate to jink him but so far Soroka has been dealing!

3 IP, 0 ER, 2 H, 0 BB, 4 K

Looks like he has two different fastballs, one that has been sitting around 92-93 and then a 4-seam that hits 94-95. His sinker looks great, lots of late sink and noticeable movement. He commands both of them real well, hitting right around the corners.

Wasn't watching the game, how did they almost blow it?

The three youngest players in MLB are all on the Braves and all producing...pretty incredible.

3 very poor defensive plays that don't show up as errors. One of the "hits" was actually an infield/outfield pop up that 5 Braves defenders (Inciarte, Swanson, Albies, Freeman, Markakis) just stood there looking up as the ball dropped. Then there was a passed ball that should have easily been caught that allowed the runners to move up....I can't remember what the third defensive blunder was but it allowed the run to score. Acuna almost gave up the game tying (and maybe game losing) run for the final out by taking an odd route but thankfully he got it at the last second. That one made me particularly nervous.

But in the end, we won and I'm happy, happy, happy (particularly for Soroka)
