I guess the $49.99 team price point turned many collectors away. You should be able to find cheaper deals on ebay soon.

I made a post about this last year and had a guy tell me that the print runs didn’t matter because team collectors would just download the pictures and print their own sets. Thought that was a strange response.

I’ve seen some of the low print cards from last year sell for very strong prices.

Player collectors might have a harder time finding their guy as many of these sets might stay sealed. I picked up a 2017 Pujols for $5 last year right when quantities were announced and I am glad I did as I have not seen any listed since. I bought the 2018 Angels set hoping the same thing would happen as last year but Shohei Ohtani caused more collectors to purchase this year with a final print run of 1,854.
