How kind of you but I'm not strictly a Braves guy. I don't discriminate, I'll collect rookie/prospect autos of any potential HOF'er, despite the teams they play for and I actually really do want a nice Scherzer rookie auto. You'd be hard pressed to find many pitchers who have been as dominant as him since 2013. Trading him was one of the D-Backs worst mistakes ever.
Then I hope you have a ton of Gleyber.

The Dbacks also traded Didi and Dansby and probably Duplantier soon enough

Yeah, losing Didi sucked but at least we got Robbie Ray out of it. Dansby was another ridiculous trade...at least it was the Braves who got him. Otherwise I'd be pissed.

Moral of the story: If the D-Backs have a good young prospect or player then expect 'em to be with another team within the next couple years. Duplantier applies. Maybe pinstripes too?

You need to get yourself one, they are climbing. I’ve had mine for probably six years or so and it was dirt cheap at the time.

I picked this up yesterday, was pleased with the final bid:

I would love to pick up a Scherzer rookie soon, but is the 2018 Topps Stadium Club Auto Scherzer's best/key rookie?

He has three other rookie autos:
2008 SPx #150 Autograph
2008 Upper Deck Ballpark Collection #142 Autograph
2008 Upper Deck Sweet Spot #139 Autograph #/299
2008 Upper Deck Ultimate Collection #102 Autographed Jersey #/99

I'd imagine it's 2008 Upper Deck Ultimate Collection #102 Autographed Jersey #/99. Lowest print run, plus Upper Deck used to be respected as a card producer (until they lost their license in 2010).

I started a good discussion about Topps Black RCs over on Blowout a couple of months ago. Lots of good talk in it. I'd rank any players Topps Black RC as their 2nd best card next to their 1st Bowman Chrome color autographs. If you're unfamiliar with them - Kershaw Topps Black RCs sell well north of $1k, and a Jose Altuve BGS 9 just sold 2 days ago for $2,146.21!:

https://www.ebay.com/itm/2011-Topps...OKIE-RC-60-US132-BGS-9-MINT-PWCC/401519457132

I'd argue certain players have a more desirable non-auto. RC parallel. I'd much rather own a 2002 Bowman Chrome Draft Gold Refractor of Votto than the 2004 auto.

A follow up to this, here's a list of the top 20 Topps Black RCs:

1. Mike Trout --- 2011 Topps Update Black /60 #US175
2. Clayton Kershaw --- 2008 Topps Update Black /57 #UH240

6. Corey Kluber --- 2013 Topps Update Black /62 #US105
7. Nolan Arenado --- 2013 Topps Update Black /62 #US259
8. Chris Sale --- 2011 Topps Black /60 #65

I posted this at the beginning of the season. Crazy how much prices have changed for some guys. Trout is more than 2x the price here. Betts is as well (though starting at a fraction of the price of Trout).

Confirmed sale? That’s insane!

I paid under 2k for a sale ungraded though for some reason Sale seems immune to increasing in value.

Looking at the prices of some other red refractors to sell, the market is crazy. At least with Arenado he’s a legit star.
