Kershaw was put on the 10-day DL, but his manager says he's expected to miss at least a month for a back injury.
It's the third year he's had back trouble, which is not good for a pitcher, especially one with his unique delivery. This comes a game after returning from the DL for bicep tendonitis.
Kershaw's fastball velocity has also dropped for the past five seasons.
Amazingly, his stats have been consistently incredible.
Hopefully his back troubles don't become a chronic problem and he has to retire early like Koufax did with his arthritis.
He's already obviously a first-ballot Hall of Famer even if he retires with under 200 wins. He has 145, including 1 this season.
