Has anyone seen these? I got a small pack with a bunch of stuff in it today at walmart and in it was 1 2017 honus bonus pack. Why is it I never heard of this? there is 18 Phillies cards and variations ion there. Was it only for a west coast or something like that?

i'm working to complete a set because it's a decent sized set with a lot more than your SOS veterans and it's a super-cheap rip to attempt it.

I wonder why the product failed. I know you could say the essentially black/white photos and no logos, but I'd think the gameplay part would have been more intriguing than the collecting aspect of the product.

I just bought the Phillies set. Mainly because it seems like a set no one liked so there aren't many out there. Like I said I never even heard of these. To me they seem rare. I think the complete set would be cool.

some other thoughts...

thanks for the idea about team sets for selling some of my dups if i get enough dups to make a few teams' worth of sets.

I think the checklist is deeper because of the gameplay aspect, so it's nice to have an opportunity to get some cards for those players haven't been checklist-loved since their prospect/rookie timeframe and that currently platoon, pinch-hit, are defense specialists, or are long/middle relievers.

I think the players are black and white because it was easier to avoid MLBP issues - black and white the player image so there is no MLBP argument about trademark color violation, airbrush the logos, keep the crowd or background in color.

Never heard of this set. The design reminds me of TCMA minor league cards from the early 80’s. That isn’t a compliment. Using b/w player photos with color backgrounds looks bizarre.

Looks like the 1/1’s are set up like Moments & Milestones. Tons of them on eBay for .99 or less. For a 1/1. Lol

didn't excite me. I read something about the 1/1 not being very special on those, so I wasn't yelling "MOJO" like a pre-puberty kid when I came across the 1/1's.
