Michael Chavis has rejoined the Sea Dogs.

I wish I was more excited but after a drug related suspension it's difficult.
Related question, are minor leaguers suspended eligble for MLB playoffs? I know if a major leaguer gets a drug suspension they can't play in the postseason. If Boston decided they wanted him on a playoff roster could Chavis play?

If it were just pot, some Adderall, ecstasy or heck, even a recreational line of white powder up the noes I really wouldn't care....but performance enhancing drugs are indeed worrisome to me and I lose a good deal of excitement over a prospect because then I start asking myself, "is this kid really as good as his numbers suggest or was it simply the doping that made him this good?" And then you wonder if he'll ever be any good without the dope.

I still have to follow the kid cuz I have a stash of his autos in the closet I'd like to see be worth something some day, or at least enough where I can recoup my money. We'll see....
